Quote: “We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dream. Wandering by lone sea breakers, and sitting by desolate streams. World losers and world forsakers, for whom the pale moon gleams. Yet we are movers and the shakers of the world forever it seems".

just got back from the doc a little while ago, they fit me in today at 2, my blood pressure was sky high, yesterday it was high too. so, they hook me up to this machine-thingy that measures the pressure of the blood being pumped through your vessels (something along those lines)..it's supposed to be done lying down, couldn't get a reading on me, had to sit up then do it again. doc takes my BP twice himself, now is concerned because my blood vessels aren't relaxing as they're supposed to. i am on a med now to help with that + it's a mild water pill too that wont filter through the kidneys. he is thinking it's possible that my damn kidneys are acting up again, did a protein test but wont know the results just yet. i was hospitalized in may of '06 with total renal failure...they don't know why, and since i'm adopted, there is no family history which really bites..lol so kids, i will have to keep the stress down and take it easy for 6 weeks then go back for an update. that's why i haven't been online much except to stop by my site and fix it up now and then, i just haven't felt good. other than that, i'm just fabulous, and hope you are too!!! ((((((hugs))))))))
From what I do not know..lol I think it's this heat, but we did survive. Had the windows open until 1:30 pm today, there was such a breeze blowing I cleaned house and aired it out. It got hot later in the afternoon, so we turned on the a/c and just watched movies. Didn't even venture out to the air show, heck most of them fly over the house anyway! (Remember last year when I thought we were under attack and the Stealth was doing touch-and- go's practicing for the air show??) I didn't hear the Stealth this year, don't know if it was out there or not, but it's awesome!!
Won't be around tomorrow, taking a friend to the dentist. That should be exciting @@. Have a great night and a marvelous Monday!! (((((hugs)))))) and blessings *~
Hi all, hope everyone had a great week. I had a really bad experience this week, I had to rehome my doggie. He was jumping from the deck floor up onto the rail and walking the rail, he'd go to the neighbor's and jump down onto their porches. We knew that ppl would be complaining with a quickness and we looked at the situation and my husband came to the conclusion there was nothing we could do to fix it. Long story short, he was rehomed to a fabulous home ..he's very, very happy, and that's what mattered most to us. A rescue group had contacted me about him, and she wanted some ppl in Pennsylvania to have him and was trying to arrange transport. She told me that he'd end up in a shelter and DIE and she told me I was wrong to not have charged a rehoming fee, that he was a throw away..blahblah. I was sooo upset and just cried......he did find a great home and I feel better about the whole thing, but no more animals for us while we live here. No way. Ok, 'nuff rant...I hope you all have a great weekend!! (((((((hugs)))))))))
