just got back from the doc a little while ago, they fit me in today at 2, my blood pressure was sky high, yesterday it was high too. so, they hook me up to this machine-thingy that measures the pressure of the blood being pumped through your vessels (something along those lines)..it's supposed to be done lying down, couldn't get a reading on me, had to sit up then do it again. doc takes my BP twice himself, now is concerned because my blood vessels aren't relaxing as they're supposed to. i am on a med now to help with that + it's a mild water pill too that wont filter through the kidneys. he is thinking it's possible that my damn kidneys are acting up again, did a protein test but wont know the results just yet. i was hospitalized in may of '06 with total renal failure...they don't know why, and since i'm adopted, there is no family history which really bites..lol so kids, i will have to keep the stress down and take it easy for 6 weeks then go back for an update. that's why i haven't been online much except to stop by my site and fix it up now and then, i just haven't felt good. other than that, i'm just fabulous, and hope you are too!!! ok, a doc checking and rechecking blood pressure is enough to make anyones rocket up!!!
Alysia, Bran's Chroi*i'm picturing your blood flowing like a nice river. calm and serene.* sending you lots of health and relaxation. i will hop on my broom in just a min to fan you and feed you grapes.
and on a witch note, do you have any carnelian? it does wonders for blood! i hold one when i am visited by aunt flo and it always takes cramping and clotting away! you could get a necklace or even get a stone and stick it in your bra *nice and close to the heart*. let me know if you don't have one, i'll send one to you. :) (((hugs)))~
